This license applies to every mod published by PluggLab Studio that links to or names this page (each one is “the Mod”). It covers the Mod’s code, models, textures, animations, structures, sounds, text and all other files.

PluggLab Studio mods are closed source. Only the compiled mod files (jars) are released. Being able to download a jar, or to look inside one, does not give you any rights to the code or assets in it.

You may

Without asking

  • Download official releases from the Mod’s official Modrinth and CurseForge pages, published by PluggLab Studio, and play with them on your own computer or a server you run.
  • Make videos, streams and screenshots.
  • Include the Mod in a modpack, public or private, as long as it is the unmodified official release, the modpack credits PluggLab Studio as the author of the Mod, and the modpack is not sold or paid access. Where the platform supports it (CurseForge, Modrinth), the modpack should download the Mod from its official project page rather than bundle a copy.

You may not

Without written permission

  • Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Mod, or extract its code, models, textures, animations, structures or sounds. Except where the law of your country allows this regardless of this license.
  • Copy, modify, adapt or translate it or any part of it.
  • Use any part of it in another project.
  • Redistribute, re-upload, mirror or sell it on its own, original or modified. Modpacks as described under “You may” are the only exception.
  • Publish modified versions, ports or builds of it.
  • Remove or change this license or any copyright notice.

1.Scope

This license applies to each mod published by PluggLab Studio whose project page, files or description links to or names this license. In this license, “the Mod” means any one of those mods, including its code, models, textures, animations, structures, sounds, text and all other files. Each Mod is covered separately.

2.What you may do without asking

Subject to the rest of this license, you may, without asking for permission:

  1. download official releases of the Mod from its official Modrinth and CurseForge pages, published by PluggLab Studio, and play with them on your own computer or a server you run;
  2. make videos, streams and screenshots of the Mod;
  3. include the Mod in a modpack, public or private, as long as all of the following are true:
    • it is the unmodified official release;
    • the modpack credits PluggLab Studio as the author of the Mod;
    • the modpack is not sold or paid access.
    Where the platform supports it (for example CurseForge or Modrinth), the modpack should download the Mod from its official project page rather than bundle a copy.

3.What you may not do without written permission

Unless PluggLab Studio has given you written permission, you may not:

  1. decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Mod, or extract its code, models, textures, animations, structures or sounds, except where the law of your country allows this regardless of this license;
  2. copy, modify, adapt or translate the Mod or any part of it;
  3. use any part of the Mod in another project;
  4. redistribute, re-upload, mirror or sell the Mod on its own, original or modified. Modpacks as described in section 2(c) are the only exception;
  5. publish modified versions, ports or builds of the Mod;
  6. remove or change this license or any copyright notice.

Anything not expressly allowed in section 2 is reserved by PluggLab Studio.

4.Asking for permission

To ask for permission, contact PluggLab Studio on the Discord server at discord.gg/ZMje3neEmK or message the Discord user wilcz3k16.

Permission only counts if it is given in writing (a Discord message counts), and it covers only what it explicitly says.

5.No warranty

THE MOD IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL PLUGGLAB STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE MOD OR ITS USE.
